Magnetic intensity in a dynamo simulation. The aspect ratio is 10x10x1
The computational MHD group is located at the University of Chicago. Our main interest is to study the interaction between magnetic fields and turbulent flows. The motivation for that is to obtain a better knowledge of the dynamo problem in astrophysics. Currently we are working on the following specific projects:
